By proceeding consistently with its plan of prompt adjustment to the requirements of the energy market, elin acknowledges the benefits of e-mobility not only in saving resources, but also as far as the sustainability of the planet and our own health are concerned. E-mobility becomes the starting point for easier driving, more independence, lower expenses and raising of our environmental awareness.
In order to enhance green mobility, the company decided to install EV charging stations at its customer service points, in cooperation with DEI (Public Power Corporation S.A.), the electric power supplier with the largest network of publicly accessible electric vehicle chargers in Greece, namely DEI Blue network.
By proceeding consistently with its plan, ELINOIL gradually expands the process of installing charging points in more petrol stations.
The chargers of the company’s network are suitable for charging up to two electric vehicles simultaneously and are connected to the electronic management platform of DEI Blue network, through which 24-hour support is provided to all users, either individuals or companies.
The charging time of an electric vehicle depends on the power of the charging stations, while at the same time the maximum battery capacity of the electric vehicle, its State of Charge (SoC), its On-Board Charging (OBC) and the type of the charging cable also play a significant role.
Depending on the type of the charging station, the EV user might need to have a personal charging cable with them. If you choose to charge your EV at a 22 kW AC charging station, you will need to have your own Type 2 Charging Cable with you. 50 kW DC fast chargers or 120 kW DC high-power chargers have an integrated cable, so you do not need to have any charging cable with you.
By downloading the DEI Blue app on their smartphone, the driver can locate the nearest charger, plan their route, complete the charging session and connect in an easy and fast way, in order to enjoy customised services. You can download the DEI Blue app here.
Through the gradual integration of elin petrol stations in the DEI Blue network, EV drivers will gain much more freedom and independence in their mobility all around Greece. The installation of DEI Blue charging points moves fast, and soon enough, drivers will be able to find 50 kW DC fast charging stations in selected petrol stations.
